Security Deposit

OUL applied for a security deposit from the OUR based off of the projected average monthly sewerage bills calculated from prior NWC bills – the OUR wanted the OUL to give customers at least a 30 days grace period before initiating sewage disconnections.
Homeowners' deposit allows for a grace period before the disconnection process takes place.

Billing Issues

OUL invoices are generated on the 15th of the month, and are due on receipt and past due after 15 days.
Invoices are created from the billing data supplied by the NWC for water consumption.
The sewage rates used are those approved by the OUR.
If your home is unoccupied and you do not have any water consumption, you will still be billed J$1,055 for the service charge as approved by the OUR.

Payment Options

Payments can be done via bank transfer or deposits to BNS Fairview, JM$ checking account # 90605-000888401
NCB account users, choose BNS Westgate and add the full account number 90605-000888401
Overseas customers can pay by Stripe (processing fees of 2.9%) - this is faster and cheaper than sending wire transfers.
